Our very first gym, Project Better, Collingwood is the embodiment of everything we stand for. It’s a beautiful space that is welcoming to all with racks, free weights, cardio, sauna and ice bath.
“Ive been a member at Project Better for a few years now and really appreciate the sense of community they try and foster which is rare in a 24 hour gym. It feels like an ego free zone and very welcoming so i dont feel intimidated when i come and work out. I love the sauna and ice bath included in membership cost, and each of their gyms have a familiar yet unique feel and are super accessible. Thanks PB!”

“…warm and inviting space…””
“There’s a few things that make Project Better a great place to workout. The range of equipment, warm and inviting space and sauna are all amazing, however, what truly sets it apart is the sense of community that’s been fostered by the owners. From the friendly and caring nature of trainers, to the weekend community classes and the PB run club, the culture is fantastic. It really takes it from just a gym, to a place where you can become a better version of yourself (in every sense of the word). Absolutely recommend it to anyone considering joining.”

“…it’s genuinely one of the most inclusive, supportive places I’ve ever been.”
“I’ve been training at this gym for almost five years now, and it’s genuinely one of the most inclusive, supportive places I’ve ever been. The trainers are a huge part of that — they’re knowledgeable, encouraging, and always meet you where you’re at. Because of them, I’ve become so much stronger, both in the gym and in my running. I’ve leant on this gym through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and a couple of injuries, and every time the trainers have helped me rebuild strength in a safe, realistic way.
I also go to the run clubs regularly, and they’ve helped me improve my running more than I expected. What I love most, though, is that it’s not a “show-off” kind of gym. You don’t need to be the strongest or the fittest — you can go at your own pace, and everyone respects that. The vibe is friendly, welcoming, and never intimidating.
The dog-friendliness is obviously the best, and the facilities are great. I love the sauna and ice bath.
It’s just a really good place to train, grow, and feel part of a community.”
